Gah. We have several up for sale now, and I'm so tired of tire kickers. You arrange a day off so they can come, and then they no call/no show. Then there's the people who ignore you when you explain how to push the horse's buttons and go off on a yank and spank spree (which my mare won't tolerate at all, she's a redhead), scare themselves, and probably go badmouth me everywhere despite the fact that I just rode the horse on a drape perfectly and over trail obstacles too.

My favorites are the people we already know. They know we're trustworthy and wouldn't sell them a problem horse and that we'll bend over backwards to make sure they have a good experience with our animals. I'm putting 90 days of training on for one lady and another just came back to buy a weanling after she bought a solid-bred from us last year. Those are what make it worthwhile, especially when they call you every week for weeks afterward, gushing about the horse.
