*snort* The only add I got next to it is a add saying "Are You Smarter Than Bush?" with a hilarious cartoon of George Bush all cracked out and stomping his foot o.O

Draven, that is pretty much the biggest complaint of all the Andy owners I have met; that they go through such a looooonnggg "fugly" stage. But they always say the end result is always worth it. I personally think those fugly stages are just the CUTEST, lol. I guess to some people, its a big turn off to have a slow maturing foal (which I don't personally get, since there are tons of other things to do with them until they are mature enough to saddle), but I'm actually really excited to see how the foal matures, even through the awkward stages. It'll definitely be interesting (I'm going to document all the stages :P). I definitely agree with your comment about looking at baby photos; I have found it is extremely helpful in looking at yearlings who are going through those stages.

I would also LOVE to see pictures of the sire and dam of the chestnut; all of the Andy/Arab crosses I have seen are all either gray or turning gray.

Draven, one of my all time favourite Andy studs is Mareo; he's a GORGEOUS bay Andalusian stallion. I actually tried breeding Mynika to him last year, but she didn't settle (too late in the year). He is an excellent example of the breed and has the BEST disposition, with amazing movement. His pictures really do not do him justice. I think he might actually be for sale. Heres his website-

Mystique Andalusians (http://www.mystiqueandalusian.com/stallion.htm) also have some very nice stallions standing; Paraiso and Linage in particular are my very favourite.

I am very fortunate to live in B.C., the Andalusian population is quite large here with an enthusiastic fan base and the level of quality is outstanding.

Mare Farms (http://www.andalusian.com/index3.htm) has some AMAZING stallions advertised; Genio III in particular is just...jaw droping. He's a black P.R.E. stallion, with very correct conformation and is just...stunning. The other stallions are gorgeous, athletic, and very correct as well.

Tribuno II (http://www.mwsporthorses.com/stallion.htm) is one of the best examples of the breed I have seen as of yet. He's got it all; the movement, the athletic ability, the disposition, the nobility and grace. He's very correct and looks like a big puppy dog.

PAALH (Pacific Association of the Andalusian and Lusitano Horse) has some amazing stallions advertised on their site (http://www.paalh.com/StallionsStanding.htm) Cazar is just..a living piece of art.
