NOTE: I agree that for most feeding this way ISNT safe at all , it works for me only because I am able to take more then enough time to keep things peacefull.

I've had several feed agressive horses and PDJ's right, it's a fight you don't want to pick. Find an easier, safer way of feeding. My guys have free access to the stalls, but at feeding time they have to pick a stall and get locked in before any food comes.
