Gosh, isn't that the truth about catching the bottom ranking horse in a herd! When we boarded my horse was the bottom of the group and I felt like it was virtually a near death experience every day. We were self care and I got to the barn for the evening feeding before everyone else did...so I had to bring him through the group every time. Hated it and swore my next horse would be the top horse in the herd. (Of course, that didn't happen, but we do have our own place now so it's not such an issue.)
