And when you've done all the Quickcolor and the Shop-vac:
Keep a water bottle with some rubbing alcohol & mineral oil in it. Poke a few holes in the cap. Sprinkle it onto a clean rub cloth until damp, NOT real damp. Use that to do a FINAL wipe of the horse and it picks up any dust particles and dander. We'd use it on the race horses because it does not cause saddle slippage, LOL which is very important. Puts one nice looking shine on them even if their hair is dull from being sun burnt or damaged by the weather. Oh and its a helluva lot cheaper than Champ-Peppi-spray or Show Sheen.
We had a judge one time that wouldn't place the horse if she smelled Show Sheen or stuff like that.
It never ceases to amaze me
how people cling to ignorance.
