Now, I don't want this to be a debate about Parelli. I'm not going to say anything about your training, and I would hope you would accept mine.

Before his owner started Parelli with him, he would not lead well, was CRAZY, spooked at everything, ect. We tried all sorts of equipment to keep him calm, but NOTHING worked. (at least not without making him even worse after we took it off.)

He can now be led at liberty, with a hand on his neck. He knows the "head down" cue, and does a variety of tricks. I teach him the tricks to engage his mind, and keep him from getting bored. He is still spooky, but is definitely getting over it.

I totally agree, it is almost time to start him like a "regular horse". He is broke to ride, 2 summers ago I was doing w/t/c. I left the barn to work with another trainer, and he was left to sit.

I do not really like Parelli, but I am trying to find whatever works for this horse, because I care about him. If Parelli wasn't working for us, we would not continue doing it.
