Don't know where you are in Seattle or what you feed, but around my neck of the woods (maple valley) Orchard grass is the most expensive at $15 a bale (still not as good as 3.50!) I fed my sheep alfalfa, don't know what you feed, but a bag of alfalfa pellets is $9, and a bale is 12.50 to 14 a bale. Delivery will drive that price up (natch) but if you can put up a ton most of the places around me will waive the delivery fee, or discount it. Even without buying a ton, you can do a lot better than 25 per bale. I shop at 3 main places down here, Reber ranch, country farm and feed, and King feed. Reber is the most expensive, but delivers to more places.
