My Recent Posts
One technique I've used quite a lot is to figure-8 in front of the jump. Approach the jump, and as soon as he gets quick, calmly circle away. Approach it again, and circle the other way. Keep doing it until he finally decides you're not going to jump. When he is approaching it quietly, then go ahead and let him jump, keeping your leg right there and keeping him straight.
I usually do that quite a bit, then go to placement poles. Good luck!
