I love the sound of the walking circle and the figure 8.

I used to ride a mare that was completely insane over fences because she loved them so much. She would charge over anything. I put up a really small jump, and went back and forth over it. I would stop her as soon as possible after the fence without getting all crazy (so at first that meant we made it almost the whole way down the arena), turn her in a very small circle from the halt, and then trot back over the little fence. I just did it over and over... it did seem to help.

I also did a lot of just riding it out, because that's pretty much how my instructor fixed problems. I would ask her to be steady with my voice and body language. I would do half halts and everything I could to keep her steady, but I made sure I didn't jar or jerk her going over the fence... so the fence was always fun and relaxing.

Between the two of those, she eventually became a very nice little citizen... she is used in lessons now. I'm not sure which helped more.. *shrug*

Sex is like musical talent. Some guys just naturally have it, some don't. Some can be taught, some want to but will always be tone deaf, and some don't care to be. And some are like a genre of music that you can't stand; you listen because it's on and you can't change the station, but no matter how hard you try you just can't make yourself enjoy it.
