I have two stories. Not really ghost stories, but they still scared me.
When I was about 5, my family and I went to Florida. The hotel we were staying at had a pool and I really wanted to go swimming. My mom took me and my younger brother down to the pool. My brother got bored of swimming and was sitting out on the chairs. I wasn't a very good swimmer yet, so when my mom went to check on my brother, i had to stay on the stairs. While she was out of the pool, i bounced on and off of the step while holding onto the railing. Then my hand slipped and i fell underwater. I was under for about 2 minutes before i just didn't think it was going to be possible to survive. Suddenly everything around be got bright and there was a blinding white light in front of me. At that exact second my mom pulled me out of the water. Everyone around us was completely silent, pretty much shocked to what was going on. My mom brought me to the side of the pool and asked me if i had screamed. I hadn't since i was underwater, and no one around us had screamed. My mom is still convinced it was my guardian angel.
A few years ago I had this dream that I was at my friends house when I got a phone call from my lesson teacher that my lesson was canceled because my lesson horse had been poisoned and died. I woke up crying because he meant alot to me. The next day my dad and I were going to go out to the barn since I had quit lessons, and moved, but still wanted to go see everyone. We went out to breakfast and then headed to the barn. Once we go there I asked the lesson teacher if I could go see Bobby. She was quiet then she told me that Bobby had eaten the poisonous plant white snake root and had passed away. I was completely heartbroken. For about a year after he died, I felt this prescence around me like he was with me. And I could tell it was him. I wanted him to go to heaven and finally be at peace. It was the hardest thing I ever had to do, but I just sat in my room and cried then I finally looked up and said "Bobby, I love you more than anything in my life. But its time for you to go. Please, just go." That night I had a dream that I was at the barn and they had discovered he had eaten the plant. And he died in my lap as I said "I'm sorry I never got to say goodbye. I guess this is it. I love you Bobby" I woke up crying again but everything seemed right.
