Pilgrim, psst that saddle's a little too forward.

I don't know why larger seat english saddles are so hard to find, I guess its because of less male riders!! I was thinking recently how I'll have to pull out my big western saddle for my friend Julie to come ride with me. She's not a rider but is working for the universitys research place right now and fell in love with the horses there. She's about 6'2, and with me only being 5'3 none of my saddles are going to work lol. I think if the seats were big enough I still wouldnt have long enough leathers on any of the other saddles haha. The big western one I have, is a saddle a past boyfriend purchased because he was riding with me and looking at buying a horse. When we broke up he left the saddle in my truck and never asked for it back, I guess he lost the interest in riding lol. Oh well, free saddle for me! I thought about selling it but decided to keep it if the same situation happened again, dating someone thats interested in my horses. The first time he came riding with me I put MY western saddle on Trax, and the seat JUST fit (he was a skinny guy!) and the stirrups at the longest were about 6 inches too short!

Before you criticize someone walk a mile in their shoes. That way you'll be a mile from them, and you'll have their shoes.
