The sporthorse/ lameness specialist who's been seeing Baxter for his pasture injury didn't seem to think there was much evidence that oral joint supplements were effective. I've read the studies from Cortaflx and Cosequin, but am a bit suspicious just because they are industry-sponsored. The doc did say that he thought MSM could have some value, especially when horses are not on pasture. FWIW.
