And I agree with Kizmet, as long as you're aware of how much of an investment he is and don't mind the wait to ride him, if you want ride him.
I mean, he's going to be either free, or dirt cheap. And then the vet fees come in. Bottom line, it's your money, your responsibility to plan for his health finances, and as long as you're comfortable with that and keeping his manners in check (and even have some other experience people on hand to turn to IRL), I'd say go for it!
No, you aren't. He has very little butt, and is cat-gutted. The colt looks like a chip off the old block. Pretty in the front end, but lacking in the hind end.
