I'm glad you found that board, LnL. She is long backed. There's no doubting that. She really is poor breeding quality, and is exactly what the industry is avoiding like the plague. There is a reason good show horses hold their value...

I think that buying a prospect with two good horses, or getting a nice looking horse at the auction is truly your best bet. Not only will you not have to shop stallions, you'll avoid mare care, birthing expenses, and weaning. You may even get to not deal with halter breaking. (Which sounds great to me, because I would have no clue how to go about doing any of it.) I'd rather pay for a roulette table with the number already picked for me. Then I'd know what I was getting.
