Times were good, also. The competition at these shows are tough.

I'd like to breed for a baby that could take me to state/nationals for barrels or roping if I chose. I'm probably going to hold off breeding for a few more years, but I may also end up breeding my grade mare if she proves to be a great barrel horse. She CAN be registered PtHA, but a color registry = joke to most, but she is pending registration.

I think I need to call someone in Oklahoma and get a name of a certain stud out of his lying lips.

So now you are holding off breeding her for a few years..... the paint is a 1987 model. So you plan on holding off until she is 23 or 24 years old or possibly breeding the grade mare out of her?

Or am I just really confused? Does this make sense to anyone that isn't me?

First you say that genetics don't have much of a part in racehorses. You also say you want to breed for a racehorse or barrel horse. Well if the mare is so super and gentics don't matter... then just breed her to any thing with testicals and you will have a winner if you follow your own train of thought on this.

Do you do poles on the bay mare? If so, what are her times in the poles?

Never argue with an idiot..... they drag you down to their level and then beat you up with experience!!!

Stupid should be painful!
