What a load of shit... sorry but it really makes me mad with these people that think anything over 10 is old!!!! Horses are competing and winning at the Olympic levels at 18yrs of age for goodness sake!!! A horse year is 3 human ones so the 'old' 13yo horse would only be 39 in human years - and would likely keep going until it is well into its twenties! Can she seriously say she'll want the same horse to ride for 10 - 15 years?? Because thats how long she'll likely get out of it in active competition.
