See, I know western, I know playdays, western pleasure (local), I know riding bareback everywhere. I have been around horses my entire life and when my dad bought me an all purpose English saddle 8 years ago, he thought he was doing something great. I never owned a horse that would take the English saddle. We had someone who was qualified enough to teach me, but she turned out to be someone you can't trust and then just up and left one day. So no one else here to teach.

I want to do this because this is the only way I can ride. No one around here is willing to give a broke college student a chance.

Yeah, the blanket is not going to work, thought I don't understand how it doesn't work because her owner uses a towel when she's not riding. lol. And yeah, I didn't ride that day, I just worked her and brought the stirrup down because I thought about getting on her for a few minutes, but didn't fix it.

There's a little live and let live in you.
A little bit of wonder.
Unchanged. Unknown. Yet somehow, larger than life.
It's the child part. The wild part.
The part that keeps us on our toes.
