I only thought what HP said was stupid. At the local level, a "show bow" aka bun holder, is more than acceptable and you will not be laughed at for it. Sorry if everyone doesn't meet your A circuit standards, HP. We can't all be blessed with tons of money to buy the latest fashions and afford thousands of dollars a week for shows. Some of us just have to make do and have fun at the local level.
Because hairnets totally cost a TON and are only for rich people. Suuureee. At the local level here you do not see show bows, in fact I've seen 1 in my entire hunter career. Said girl was quickly lent a hairnet and the incident was hushed. Show bows are not appropriate hunter attire, they look sloppy and were NOT created for hunters, but dressage, I believe (correct me if I'm wrong, but they definitly weren't created for hunters). Show bows have nothing to do with latest fashions, really, just what is appropriate for shows.

PS. you're really giving hunters a bad name. have you ever wondered why people think they're such snobs? Yeah, because people like you make comments like that.
Eh. I say what I believe, but I do tend to speak in hyperboles
