There were 4 or 5 girls with them at the show I went to last weekend, and all three consistantly placed in the top 6. Some people find them convient and time saving, and that matters more at a schooling show than some big A circuit show where the rider just has to make themself look good, and have a groom to worry about their horse. The judge really doesn't care what the riders are wearing, it's just the snotty little brats . Around here, if you laughed at someone for not wearing the 'right' thing, you'd be the one looking like a fool.
