I think the Friesian cross is just like any other cross, you got your fuglys and your non fuglys..If you notice theres two sides to the cross when it comes to the breeders..You've got your low end breeder who breeds because they think crossing a Friesian with anything else will make it "purty" and add the "fantasy" to it..Then you have your other side, the breeders who breed Friesian crosses for their thick bone, athletic ability, mind and yes looks, all in which are bred to make a better horse..

edited to add: I think its similiar to when the Arab/QH trend started..If done right you can get the best of both worlds..
