Yes, he does. Poor baby. I hope that someone kind gets him - and if he can't be fixed they do the right thing and euthanize him if he can't live comfortably.

I knew a man who had a calf born with neurological problems. He refused to put him down, and the poor thing spent the first month of his life lying down, getting bottle fed or helped to stand for nursing (the cow was an awesome mother, fairly wild, but she never left him and would stand there while the calf was being held up to nurse). Then was able to stand - but as he got older, he had more and more problems standing - he was very shaky and would fall down often. He eventually died (at about 1 year old), but his last few months were really bad.

The man thought he was being kind to him by not euthanizing him, but in reality he was being very cruel. I tried and tried and tried to convince him to just put the baby down, but he wouldn't. It made me so angry.
