I'm kinda jealous of the guys, actually. They can get away with the solid colors and get to use a more flashy saddle blanket. I'd almost rather do that than wear the sparkly tops and have to go for a blah solid saddle blanket.


Actually, T.W.O, one year, he was all dressed 'mature'. I think he was about 10 yrs old. We had him in a dark forest green Cinch shirt with black chaps and black pad on the sorrel horse, trying not to look too.... 'kid'. He didn't place in WP, but he won the W-Eq class and the judge said to him "I just didn't SEE you in the last class!"

We went shopping the next week for the brightest shirt we could find. (yellow plaid Cinch shirt in photos). When he showed my black gelding, he insisted on getting a bright orange show-shirt. I had to put my foot down on that idea!! LOL
