He woulda looked like a Cheeto. He ended up doing teal one time and a nice wine-maroon the next time

The red didn't do well on the sorrel (chestnut). Electric blue and the yellow plaid seemed to go good with the sorrel tones.

I see people suggest the color wheel system. But you'll never know how any colors will look until you put them up against the actual horse. Different tones in their coat will make some colors not do good at all.
