I just don't like the way HP responds. It's not her opinion, it's how she presents it. Like I said, she could very well have said "Don't wear a show bow, it's not ment for hunters. " Not ,"Everyone will LAUGH at you" and then go on to tell the story of how one girl wore one to a schooling show and the whole situation was fixed and kepy 'hush hush". Like that doesn't make her sound like a stuck up snob at all. image I'm simply pointing out, that it is quite acceptable in many places to wear show bows and that not everyone is a hunter princess showing on the A's.
Okay, you can disslike the way I respond, I honestly don't care. It's my opinion and I'll present it in the way I see fit, which happens to be exagerations. As for the girl (nice kid, great rider, would be going in the larges, but hers came up lame), well, she was releived she didn't look out of place in the show ring. How would you like it if were planning on going to a big event, but no one told you what to wear, and you showed up in a prom dress and everyone else was in jeans and a nice top? People might not laugh at you, but it's definitly embarrassing, and there would be mummers. They very well may be acceptable in some places (like I said, they aren't acceptable at the locals here either), but I don't have any experience there, and I still wouldn't recommend wearing one there because I personally find them tacky and well, they definitly look like what myfurrypanda said
