Thanks to all who have replied so far!

Hi Streetmutt, nice to meet you - I'm definitely no expert either; that's why I'm here to learn! Thanks for the response on my Teke guy too

I pretty much had the same impression as you of the paint I posted above - but again, I'm no expert ;-) and defer to anybody with more expertise... no, she is not mine

I've been reading FHOTD for a while now, but I got the balls to finally post yesterday! I've been posting a lot because, while my eye for conformation could definitely use some work, I suppose the best way to improve is through practice, right?

I currently have 4 horses - 3 younger OTTB mares and 1 Teke, all of whom I am THRILLED with! I'm doing the track horses because there are some really nice prospects out there... I'm don't have the money to spend on really expensive fully trained & proven horses ($20,000 up for something young and nice), so I'd rather give a track horse a shot at a sport they might actually do well in and be able to play a part in their training. And so far, it's worked out pretty well for me, with the help and guidance of a professional trainer, of course

One is made and playing polo, another is well on her way and should be playing by summer, one is a nice riding horse soon to start training and then, of course, there's my Teke boy who's just enjoying growing up right now.
