Trax will do ANYTHING for a mint. Any kind of mint too, I like to mix it up. I buy the cheap starlight mints in peppermint, spearmint, and wintergreen. Jupiter is SOO fussy. She doesnt like carrots, apples, or mints. I've tried sticking them in her mouth, because I thought since she came off the track she just didnt know what treats were. But nope, she spits them out and then throws her head up with her lips peeled back and makes a "YUCK!" face. But I did find these apple biscuit horse treats at a tack shop she likes. Strange that shes ok with them, but not actual apples... lol. (She makes the same face after worming, I really need to tape it sometime its hilarious)
Edit: Oh I just remembered a funny story!! When I was in 4h, a friend of a friend had a horse that LOVED hotdogs and hamburgers. So they told me this story of what had happened at the fair a few years back. A kid with his mom stopped to pet the horse, and he stole the hotdog right off the bun from the kid. The kid told his mom the horsie ate his hotdog, could get have another one. She gets mad and says no, don't lie and blame the horse! She thought he had dropped the hotdog or something, and so the kid and the mom walk on arguing as the kid INSISTS the horse stole his hotdog.. I asked them, why didn't they tell the woman what happened? Well because they were trying so hard not to laugh they couldnt speak.
Before you criticize someone walk a mile in their shoes. That way you'll be a mile from them, and you'll have their shoes.
