I did name him "Justin!" They were calling him something else (part of his mile-long registered name) that I didn't think fit him at all. And quite honestly, he looks a whole lot like the pictures of Justin Morgan that I've seen: small, red bay, with just a bit of white, and stocky as all get out (not to mention the ability to trot all day long). I've also got his pedigree all the way back to the original Justin, which is really neat (and there's no Saddlebred in there at all. *G*). I started calling him Justin as soon as he came to me...now he answers to it, and comes a-running when I'm at the gate.

MG, I would LOVE to see some before/after pictures of your gelding! I'm actually not in Vermont, but close enough. We have a lot of Morgan breeders/showers around here, and there tend to be driving morgans, WP morgans, SS morgans, and more and more, dressage morgans! It's really excellent. Unfortunately there's no wayI can wait two years to get into that SS/dressage trainer's barn, but maybe one day. I will keep my fingers crossed!
