Some of you folks don't read posts too well. First, the kitty is not blind yet and I hope that he won't BE blind. But since I've never had a blind cat, I did want to get opinions...just in case. After the first couple of posts saying that blind cats don't do well outside, I realized that, IF he goes blind, he couldn't live outside. I won't euthanize him...he's too sweet and friendly for that. I would, however, find an indoor home for him.

So quit getting your panties in a twist or trying to imply that I'm stupid. Having no experience with blind cats and asking for advice is NOT a sign of stupidity. It's showing that I'm trying to do the best for this little guy that I can. We're putting a lot of effort into saving this kitty AND trying to save his eyesight. We're having yet another medication overnighted...this one has shown some effectiveness in treating the conjunctivitis.
