Since no one wants to bite I am not going to respond to this message. You are riding your horse in an english set while in a western saddle - my big pet peeve.
Sorry, I'm not quite sure how to take this first sentence.

This question is because I honestly want to know: does riding my horse in an english set while in a western saddle hurt anything? Other than my riding issues and the saddle being too far forward, does this hurt my horse or me or have any other bad effects? Or is it because I'm just not supposed to?

Thanks for the feedback, guys. Megsabelle, thanks so much for the exercise. I'll definitely try it.

Disclaimer: If it says "my barn" or "my horse" in the post above, I am referring to the barn where I ride or a school horse at the barn where I ride, not my personal barn or horse (I don't have one). As I'm lazy at typing, it's easier to type "my [blank]" than "the barn where I ride" or "this horse who currently resides at the barn blah blah blah."
