Glad you found her home. I had this happen to me last summer, it was my mare that was missing. I was on vacation and my mare was staying with a friend of mine. I got several frantic emails that my horse was gone. I posted ads everywhere online as I was 1500 miles away. Three days later there was a response to one of my online ads; all it said was, "I have your mare, long story, call me" I called. It turns out the wife (horse person) was out of town for the weekend. Her non horsey husband saw my horse, who had gotten out and went for a jog, standing by his fence and thought it was one of his wife's new broodmares. So he simply put he back in the fence. Wife comes home from weekend trip and says, that one isn't mine. LOL. I was a nervous wreck.
