My first "dream horse" was a pinto pony that my parents would take me to ride regularly at a horse ranch, when I was 3 yrs old, and living out my childhood in North New Jersey. I had a dunskin Quarter gelding named Rooster that was a dream, and I had to sell him when I crushed my shoulder in the haybarn and had replacement surgery and was told I wouldn't be riding for a longgg time. Turns out I was riding again in 6 months and kept trying to buy him back, but no go. Now I have my perfect dream horse, Maggie, an 8 yr old Quarter mare, a bay, in foal to a smokey grullo stud.
