Squishy...do look around.

When we had our first Cocker PTS, we didn't take her to her usual vet. Her usual vet clinic was high tech, spotlessly clean, newest technology, etc. They diagnosed and treated without bias (or emotion). That's a good thing...until you have to let a dog go. They seemed annoyed by the questions also, and just seemed really calloused towards us. Uhm, no, I'm not going to put down my 15 year old cocker (I was 15, btw...yeah, long as I could remember...came up from Texas with us) where they don't give a shit.

The vet we chose was a dumpy old clinic in the ghetto full of the most cheerful, caring animal lovers I have ever met. They were so nice, and they let us stay for awhile with her.

Look for a teensy tiny clinic. For some reason, it seems like they care more...
