Squish I am so sorry hon. I know how difficult this is... really, I do. Have you contacted your local animal control or Humane Society? Both of ours euthanize here. Also, I agree that if you are paying for the services, you have the right to request anesthesia before euthanasia. And, its your dog, take a large blanket and make it understood you will be carrying her out in that blanket. Most clinics have a rear exit (in fact, they HAVE to per fire code) and will let you take your pet out the back so as to not disrupt the other clients.
I can barely even watch the videos you post. I know you don't see it because you are with Chance everyday. But sweetie, she is in soooo much pain. Chance is going everything she can to please you. What you are seeing from Chance as improvement is her reacting to your current sadness. She is trying to be happy for you. She is trying to be there for you. Please, do the same for her and put your own pain aside and be there for Chance. I know you its hard, but I also know that your love for Chance is greater than any sadness you have about putting her down.
Regarding Jason's behavior, I think he is just responding in the only way he knows how. We have already established that he has very poor coping skills (if any) and that his method for handling stress and sadness is to lash out at those people around him. I believe that is what he is doing. I don't think he actually believes you are a horrible monster. I think he is upset with himself and feeling inadequate and helpless. He is taking his sadness and frustration out on you like he always does. Please don't take it personally and try not to let it affect you or cloud your judgment. We are all here for you Squish. You are loved and we support you.

Unscientific studies of FiSH forum prove uncategorically that any thread may soon take a hard left into bashing, questioning, defending, linking to previous posts, and arguing; however, said thread will, by page 20, degenerate into massive overdoses of cuteness, love and noms. WIN." --
