With all due respect.... part of the problem is when people think others should 'choose sides'.

Choosing sides eliminates the respect for ones own opinion on the matter. If I chose your side of the story, NG, then all the others would think I supported the choice. SAME as choosing to go with all of your opponents. Neither choice would portray MY own feelings on the matter. Wheres the respect in that?

We're all here to contribute something. Some do it in a different fashion than others. I have backed off a whole lot because I didn't want people to have to choose my side or the 'other side'. That's not right of me to expect them to do that, nor is it my desire to have more people on my side than the other side.

I appreciate the input you have given about certain topics. Doesn't mean I support you in ALL of your decisions. That goes for anyone else here. There's another user who is just flat STUPID when it comes to horse care. But I like that person. So I choose to refrain from pissing them off by picking on their ignorance of horse care, and from making people choose sides to show support on whether I'm right or wrong.

But thats just how I look at it.

image It never ceases to amaze me
how people cling to ignorance.
