Tydye - You are right, POA does not approve Haflingers for registration or outcrossing. If that mare is registered she must have hardship papers. That doesn't really matter for showing purposes, but could for breeding (which isn't necessarily a bad thing, if the pony is one that shouldn't be bred).

I think that the mare in the OP is cute. And seems quiet in the video. She could be a nice little pony for someone starting out in POA, or who just wants a pony to trail ride or hack around on. But she may not be very competetive at the big POA shows. (Still no reason why she couldn't be shown, especially at the state level, but she just might not win).
