Breast feeding was a pain in the ass. Both kids were preemies, neither ever really learned to latch on decently, and when they did they slurped sores onto my nipples. It was awful. Then I lost the supply and had to pump, then it came back and I'd wake up in the morning with my shirt soaked, in a puddle of milk with burning hot boobs that were rock hard. Oh it was misery.

Same here. Both of my kids were born 3 weeks early, both wouldn't latch and I had to use a nipple shield plus pump. It was pure torture. I tried so hard to nurse but it didn't work out. I ended up pumping my breast milk for 6 weeks with both and feeding them with a bottle.
