Actually, I commend the woman for stopping when her driving time was up. It seems like traffic accidents are ALWAYS blamed on the commercial drivers. I think its great that she she quit when she ran out of hours. Sounds to me like the backup driver dropped the ball on this one. And, Grayhound is definitely at fault. The dispatchers should ALWAYS know how many hours their drivers have available and its illegal for the dispatchers to run someone over their legal hours.

I think its cool that the passengers didn't do anything. But, it sort of makes me sad that everyone's first thought (including my own) was that there would be a disaster because the passengers were ex-cons. Tells me I need to take a step back and remember to not be so judgmental and quick to make decisions about people based on their past. Imagine if that bus had been filled with regular passengers. I bet they would have destroyed the bus! lol
