I do. I do foster care for our humane society. I am usually called to take puppies that are brought in or females who are very pregnant. Anyway, I work hard to socialize and do the basic training while they are with me; and it drives me crazy to have an ill mannered pet. My son has a friend (he is 9) with an Irish Setter. This dog jumps up and generally acts crazy. The parents solution to the kids is to stand still until he ignores you and then run as fast as you can to the door. WTF. So anyway one day I stopped over, the dog comes bolting at me, I kept walking since I knew he wasn't aggressive and when he went to jump up I growled no and put my knee in his chest. He very calmly moved away and left me alone. The little boy said wow that never happens. LOL. My sisters dogs are also pretty ill mannered, no concept of boundaries. To make matters worse they want their dogs to have one litter before they are spayed. ARRRRRGGGGG
