All I know is that hard night or not. She should have waited. We've all worked jobs that are hard and if your replacement isn't there when it's your time to leave you wait or you get canned. It's common sense not to leave a bus full of passengers sitting alone on the side of the road for four hours.

This happened to me on a delta flight. We were delayed for several hours, finally got on the plane around 10 pm, sat on the tarmac until 12:30, were told we were next in line for take-off, waited another 30 mins, then told the co-pilot didnt have enough hours to make the flight, driven back to the gate and booted off the plane. This was after already being stranded an extra day and a half because delta is incompetent. All delta employees were extremely unapologetic and offered only to rebook for the following morning and food vouchers for $7.50.
