Well, anyway...

On the subject, here is a foundation bred (something like 98% foundation... Skipper W, Two-Eyed Jack, Poco Bueno without HERDA) stallion I 'owned' for a long, long time. He had *just* been brought in from pasture for training - between 3-4 years old - here.

Gelding him or not wasn't my choice (wasn't technically owned by me). My only 'issue' with him was short neck/back, but it worked well for what he was bred for (reining). He's produced a few foals... the couple grades are still owned by the people who bred to him, and the couple of registered ones sold for $2500 as weanlings in an area people thought $1000 for a finished horse was steep, when the market was much better.
