Tidal Wave was a little scared, but, he was just trying to get away from the saddle. But, He did a good job considering this was his first time.

He actually wasn't THAT scared, he was just trying to "get away" from the saddle. He didn't even buck really, just crow hopped.

If he was still trying to get away from the saddle, he wasn't ready for a rider.
Poor thing.

Skinnier, too?

He's not wormy, Just skinny.

Because skinny is so much better than wormy :rolleyes

"Lets break him in now, while he's underweight and unable to put up much of a fight!"

If Wave had really been scared, that guy would have been on the ground in short order. Babying him is not going to make it any easier and now he has had his first ride. It is over and done with and he knows it did not hurt him.

The guys legs were almost touching the ground on both sides anyway...

There is a difference between babying and intelligent professional horse handling.

I have seen some of the crap horses put up with. They really are the most forgiving of animals!
