1) a)Halter I would say park out. You do what is appropriate for the breed. It is judged on the horse. b)Showmanship I would square up. It is judged on you and your ability to run the pattern/show your horse.

2) I've heard of tapping for people, but not horses. Hmmm. I better read up. lol I'm assuming it is one of the mind/body things that is associated with acupuncture and pressure points?

3) Maybe a grazing muzzle?

4)Rice bran and/or oil added.

5)Wood grindings. About 8-12 inches deep to start. Lasts about 4-6 months. The old stuff goes into the turnout and arenas as footing and stall is rebedded completely.

6) A soft rope halter with wrapped nose band and a soft 11 foot lead. It fits all of the horses, even the nutheads are 'easier' to control. I can do circles if I need to. I spend the majority of my time on the ground working with horses.
