Look into feed stores, not pet stores. Like where you buy your grain They typically have tons of good food brands. At petsmart the best they carry is Blue Buffalo. The wilderness would be the low grain option. But you can find other grain free's for cheaper at a feed store most likely (depends on the feed store..)

For yeast ear infections, you should try the blue power ear treatment. Here is the original recipe, I've heard from people who tried other versions with less ingredients and they said it didn't work. Its raved about by people that have dogs with chronic yeast ear infections. http://www.itsfortheanimals.com/BLUE.HTM

It depends on the dog though. Not all dogs tolerate the same things. For example, one of my dogs can't eat lamb. It makes her sick and she has diarrhea. So one dog may have small poops on Legacy while another gets diarrhea, or has large poop etc.

What kind of raw bones do you feed? RMBs or recreational? Just a warning to everyone, recreational bones (as well as cooked!!) can break teeth. A friend of mine had her dog break a tooth just today, while only about 4 months ago one of her other dogs broke a tooth! It was $350 at the cheapest vet she could find to get the tooth pulled, and she waited almost 2 weeks and they had to cut out gum tissue because of infection. She's getting the dog that broke a tooth today in to the vet in the next 2 days. The first dog broke her tooth on a smoked bone, even though she knew better than feeding them. The real kicker is her dog that broke a tooth today did it on a bone her roommate left out. She told her roommate constantly to please not leave them laying around, because of the first dog breaking a tooth. But while she was in the shower her dog found a raw recreational bone (like a shank, weight bearing bone) in the couch and broke his premolar.

Before you criticize someone walk a mile in their shoes. That way you'll be a mile from them, and you'll have their shoes.
