if they collected him as a "yearling" they would of collected him BEFORE his show season at an age of about 10-13 months, which some colts are still with their mom at that age if they reffer to him as a yearling or not, it was done in 2008 which makes him a 2y/o

edit: so this is the reason why you dislike De Reno, because him OWNERS made an awkward choice?? I guess that can be a reason, but I was hoping for a more conformationally charged reply .
