I can agree with this also. If any segment of the QH industry is preserving the integrity of the breed, the closest would be the barrel racers, ropers, and racehorse breeders.

Not sure either why Relagate (TB) would be considered an outcross for Firewater Fiesta either. Many speed breeders (barrel racing, roping, racing, etc.) use TBs regularly as outcrosses. I think they were referring to TBs as outcross blood mainly for cutters and were trying to convey the basic principle of using TBs as outcross blood for many disciplines.
