I wasn't trying to say they were wrong in collecting him, I was responding to WMerrickwannabe's post that stated that they "probably" collected him to check his semen and make sure he's not sterile. I was stating that a lot of young stallions have very low sperm counts due to their immaturity and it can change with age. Obviously they felt he was mature enough and did so.
