I think you missed a whole lot of threads. LOL. Several people here were accused of being my "minions" because they agreed with my opinions.

As for type instead of conformation critique...you will find that most horses within a particular type (for a particular discipline) will have similar conformation. For example, you will find that many of the Quarter race horses today are high behind; the cowhorses will be more compact, lighter built, not as much muscle; shorter pasterns; the older QHs were more similar to each other than the QHs are today. The HUS horses are going to be similar to each other (looking much like TBs). The WP horses are going to be similar to each other, with a straighter shoulder, narrower up front, a lighter hip, and more angle to their hock. In addition to knowing type, it's not difficult to recognize the different bloodlines that go along with each type. They are alike more often than not.
