No but then again neither are cutting horses

Yeah, but cutters can turn on a dime, can be quick, can stop very hard from a full gallop. That's why cutters who don't have that much cow sense can become ropers, reiners, penners and reined cow horses. What can a WP horse do outside of its own discipline?

Again, I'm not dismissing specialization (like FTFOTB does), I am just trying to say that the more demanding the discipline the more aware you can be about a horse's different abilities.

According to the articles that FtFotB swears by (posted on the Bull Dog thread), they would agree since the cutters can use speed and stop on a dime.

As I said before.... all the halter horses and pleasure/performance show horses do not fit the criteria for what the articles are saying a great QH isable to do..... USE SPEED.

Never argue with an idiot..... they drag you down to their level and then beat you up with experience!!!

Stupid should be painful!
