Personally I would never feed nutro, the ingredients are not good enough. However it is a step above purina, or Iams. With dog food not everyone is going to feed raw, not everyone can afford wellness/innova/natures variety. So my take on it is whatever improvement you can do is a step in the right direction. For someone feeding kibbles n bits or ol roy its not likely they are going to turn around and by canidae. Attacking people who don't feed the same as you is ridiculous. It only makes people defensive and they don't hear a word you said. Feeding a quality kibble is a better diet than trying to feed raw and not doing it correctly. A friend of mine works for Blue Buffalo pet food. When she finally started feeding raw (she thought I was insane I think when she found out I fed raw) she talked to me and said how can she continue working for Blue Buffalo. Selling the dog food when she knows so much about how raw is better. I told her exactly what I typed above, its a step in the right direction. Not everyone is going to feed raw, and they need to know about better kibbles out there. She still works for them.

But we do need to educate people on ingredients in dog foods, how to select a dog food and read the labels. On the digestive system and dietary requirements of our pets.

Before you criticize someone walk a mile in their shoes. That way you'll be a mile from them, and you'll have their shoes.
