Just don't get your heart too set on winning something in the A circuit hunters... and that's not a comment on your ability (obviously I have no idea how well you ride or how well he performs). At least in my area, the A circuit shows are extremely political. They place a very specific type of horse (aka the really expensive kind) and a certain type of rider (they like familiar names, lots of money, good connections, etc.). I don't know where you're located, it might be different (hopefully). I think it's just stupid that the judges let themselves be swayed by things other than the actual performance. I knew a girl who excelled at lower level shows (Trillium, if that means anything to you) but did poorly at A level. She was devastated, because she was set on winning. She ended up switching to jumper, where they can't let politics play a part

edit: I forgot to say, I think he's adorable! Very sturdy, I just love his face. Long back, although don't ask me what that means. I agree with the other people who have suggested low level dressage is good for any horse

Snow White:     "How do you do?"

Grumpy:   "How do you do what?"
